My love for natural healing runs deeper than research—it runs in my blood.  My Nana was from the Cook Islands. She believed in the wisdom of the earth long before it was “clean beauty.” She would massage us with pure coconut oil straight from the islands. No labels. No chemicals. Just nature, intention, and love.

Her legacy lives in every jar I make. 

I’ve lived a holistic, organic lifestyle for over a decade, but it began with her. And today, I blend that generational wisdom with modern simplicity to create skincare that feels like home.

How Marley & Tallow Skincare was birthed

It all began with my middle child, Marley in 2023.
After multiple rounds of antibiotics at birth, he developed full-body eczema—red, inflamed, uncomfortable skin. Topical steroid use was not an option for our family. We tried many holistic/natural skin remedies and nothing was making a change. We were exhausted. Then, came a gift that changed everything.

After the birth of our daughter Mary, our doula/dear friend brought us a jar of tallow balm. I had never used it before, but desperate for relief, we tried it. The shift was immediate. His skin calmed. The redness softened. The itch quieted. For the first time in weeks, he was at peace in his skin. That one moment sent me down a rabbit hole of research into tallow—its ancestral roots, it's bioavailability, and why our skin recognises it as nourishment. It was the only topical solution that actually worked, and once I saw how powerful it was for Marley, I knew other families need this too. So i created Marley & Tallow - named after the little boy who showed me what real healing looks like.
